The Rossini Art Site in Briosco, at the gates of Brianza, is not any old art museum. Created from a passion for contemporary art by its founder, the entrepreneur and collector Alberto Rossini, this space is a real natural park where there are ponies, farm animals, and hares and squirrels wander the green expanses including the works of art. Moreover, the entrance pavilion, designed by New York architect James Wines, is the first step towards a world of gigantic installations that catapults visitors into a real fairy tale. The exhibition covers 10 hectares, and art lovers will find works by Turcato, Cascella, Consagra, Melotti, Munari, Pomodoro, Varisco and the “House of Peace” by Massimiliano Fuksas. There is a rich programme of events, which are family and children friendly, designed to influence the imagination of both young and old. A tip from those who have been there: experience the park in an informal way, and if you can, stop for a picnic under the olive trees and stay there until sunset. The memory of this place and its incredible panorama will be indelible.
