La Torteria was founded just over a year ago in the quiet and discrete historic centre of Como. La Torteria, is a magical place that having entered once you can do nothing else but return. Cecilia, your pastry chef, will welcome you into her chic, cosy and non-pretentious shop, and let you taste some real artisan delights for the palate created and made with her own hands. Her recipes have an effect on your taste buds that create a feeling of nostalgia: her kitchen produces cheesecake with elderberries, Sacher (there is a vegan version too), biscuits, jams, chocolates and chocolate bars, marron glacé and much more. Cakes can be purchased whole or you can take a slice away with you. La Torteria is a place where both the soul and essence of Cecilia emerge. If you are Como drop by, and if not, go there.
