Giulia Boccafogli – born in Bologna and adopted by Lugano – a professional jewelry maker in Como is a creative artist with a degree in Architecture. She has a passion for jewels made from recycled material and in particular leather. Giulia, to make her jewels, utilises regenerated leather giving it a second life. Unique pieces that appear to be from a parallel universe, surreal, from a different and unconventional imagination: never seen before. A style that blends classicism with modernity, a rock/punk style with gentle and feminine touches. Tribal, with fetish references and strong hot colors. Her collections have already made their mark even though they are young. Giulia in fact distributes her jewels in Japan, Switzerland, Austria, Ireland, Australia, Senegal, Turkey, Mexico, Colombia and elsewhere.
