Gallery Melesi is an exposition space for contemporary visual arts, founded in 1991. Managed by Sabina Melesi, who has transformed her passion and her love for the art, in a very esteemed profession. Every exhibition can develop a theme, a historic period or works site specific made for the occasion. The exhibitions are always accompanied by a bilingual catalogue (Italian and English). The direct and frequent relationship between the artist and the gallery owner, guarantees the authenticity and high quality of the art pieces proposed. At the entrance of the gallery, there is a permanent sculpture of the artist Eduard Habicher, named will kommen. The sculpture, composed of two 3 metre-high parts represents an embrace which welcomes visitors. The embrace welcomes, makes you feel secure and protected, and will kommen, you answer willkommen, welcome! For Sabina Melesi, this work of art highlights the concept of welcoming people in her gallery, to see and meet and exchange thoughts on art.
