a love for art and for textile culture
Antonio Ratti, founder of the textile company that carried his name, was always a great lover and promoter of art and culture. As a result of this, a few years ago he has left a legacy to the city of Como: his Foundation that deals with textiles and contemporary art culture through the investigation of languages and research in the field of visual arts. The Antonio Ratti Foundation is responsible for training, critical theoretical reflection and networking that fosters the diffusion of thought; an incubator of ideas, a place for discussion and experimentation, from the making and dissemination of art, to the pure thoughts that revolve around the art itself.
Many are the curators, critics, theorists and artists who have collaborated on various levels with the Antonio Ratti Foundation, as are the events, exhibitions and conferences organized and promoted in recent years in collaboration with other institutions.
