living Bellagio in an unconventional way
Accommodation Bellagio e Dintorni has been created by the idea of Andrea and Carla Negrini, with the help of their daughters Clizia and Alissa: its a family business that manage apartments in Bellagio centre and in the hamlet of San Giovanni. La Scalinata – two self-catering apartments – and Il Vicolo – three self catering apartments and four bed and breakfast rooms – welcome visitors who want to experience the essence of the lake. The fact that Andrea and his daughter are architects made the “job” easier and their love for travel did the rest. The families birthplace houses have been refurbished and had a makeover that not only respects local traditions and the past, but also have a modern approach with a minimal design. The result is a kind of spread out apartments over the Bellagio area, from the lake to the mountains, from the centre to the hamlets. The love for the lake and their hamlet made Andrea and his family to bring San Giovanni’s hamlet back to life with attractions like the deli Nené Food and Nenè Kitchen – see facing page – that holds events and cooking classes.
