Agriturismo Castello di Vezio is one of the angles of terrestrial paradise on Lake Como. In the village of Vezio above Varenna, 450 meters above the level of the lake, the farm is an oasis of peace surrounded by greenery. A real dream location from which you can enjoy breathtaking views of the three branches of the lake: one that goes to the north, one to Lecco and one to Como. The owner and founder of the farm is Maria Manuela Greppi or Pupa to her friends. This place is enchanting and an example of rationalist architecture. Within the estate there are many buildings that are furnished in a refined yet simple country cottage style. You can practice yoga in the park or go swimming in one of three wonderful pools, and also taste the farm’s own EVO-DOP olive oil that is typical of this area. The olive oil produced around Lario is very prestigious, refined, and especially rare. Finally, the gardens, which hide underground passages where the oil and wine tastings are held, date back to the mid 40s and bear the signature of the great garden specialist architect Pietro Porcinai.
